Autumn with Keuteltje
Keuteltje lived in a cozy corner of a quiet farm. Keuteltje loved adventure and each season brought something new to discover. It was especially autumn that made for many adventures.
As soon as the first leaves started to colour and the air got a little cooler, Keuteltje felt the excitement in the air. The trees slowly began to shed their leaves and the ground was covered with a soft blanket of red, orange, and yellow. It was beautiful!
On a quiet morning while rolling through the woods, Keuteltje met a squirrel named Ellie. Ellie was busy collecting acorns and nuts to get through the winter. Keuteltje was curious and asked why the squirrel did that. “I'm getting ready for the cold months,” Ellie said. “I collect food so that I have enough to eat when it gets difficult to find food”
Inspired by Ellie's wisdom, Keuteltje decided to have his own autumn adventure. He rolled through the heaps of leaves he found, jumped into puddles and collected small autumn treasures such as chestnuts, acorns and dried leaves.
