Today a special recipe!
Roasted potatoes from the bbq with fresh garlic, olive oil and Italian herbs.
You can also prepare this recipe in the oven if you don't have a bbq.

It is very simple and delicious!

What do you need to prepare it?
Based on 4 people

2 aluminium dishes for the oven/bbq

1 kg crumbly potatoes, for example Eigenheimer or Bildtstar.

3 cloves of garlic

1 teaspoon Italian herbs
2 tablespoons olive oil

seasalt

Preparation BBQ:

Peel and wash the potatoes and cut them into pieces or slices.
Put them in a large pan with water and bring to the boil.
Boil them for between five and ten minutes. Drain afterwards.
Remove the skin from the garlic and cut into slices.
Divide the potato slices between the two aluminium trays. Spread 1 tablespoon of olive oil per tray over the potatoes and distribute the garlic slices over them. Season the potatoes by sprinkling with sea salt. Sprinkle the Italian herbs over the potatoes.

Place the trays on the bbq. I have a gas barbecue with a lid. I first put it on the highest setting and after five minutes, I put it on the middle setting.
On the middle setting, I let them cook further.
After about a quarter of an hour, the potatoes are golden brown.
Serve the potatoes with a nice salad and a hamburger bun with braised onion rings. A delicious summer meal.
Enjoy your meal!

Preparation for oven:

Preheat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degrees Celsius.
After 10 minutes, place the trays in the middle of the oven and let them
Bake for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, check whether they have turned a nice golden brown.
