Hi. Will I see you later during the evening walk in the Amazon rainforest?
We are special. Because we are the only monkeys that live in the jungle at night.
Indeed, our ancestors had to deal with the capuchin monkeys. These were real problems who often ran off with what we caught.Other larger monkeys also made life difficult for us and birds of prey, of course.
We are glad that we got rid of those troublemakers.We never really felt safe because of them during the day.We are no longer bothered by that.After all, they sleep during the day.
So we chose to do our thing during the night.
