"And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me." Genesis 32:26

Jacob had fled, deceived, fought, and feared. But on that special night, before being reunited with his brother Esau, he had the deepest struggle of his life: a struggle with God. It wasn't just physical… it was spiritual. It was a desperate cry for forgiveness, for identity, for peace.

And God would not reject him. He did not condemn him. He allowed himself to be touched. And in the end, Jacob received not only a blessing, but a new name: Israel, he who wrestles with God and wins.

Invitation:
Today, don't be afraid to wrestle with God in prayer. Hold fast to Him. Don't let go until His peace, His forgiveness, and His blessing open you completely.
