MONSTERS AT WORK

The series “Monsters at Work” is a Disney+ animated production that continues the story of the characters from the movie “Monsters, Inc”. The plot follows Mike and Sulley as they try to become the company's new bosses after Waternoose was imprisoned and Roz temporarily took over the helm.

Overall, the series is entertaining and fun, with a great level of animation (considering that it's a series and not a movie) and an impressive voice cast. The characters are iconic and well-developed for the most part, and the plot is intriguing, especially for those who enjoyed the original film. It's impossible not to feel nostalgic when watching the series because they are characters that I grew up with since I was a child, in fact 'Monster Inc' is my favorite animated movie.

) However, the series has some negative aspects that should be highlighted.

First of all, the plot may seem predictable and a bit repetitive, as it follows a similar pattern in each episode. In addition, some secondary characters are not developed enough and seem to be simply added to fill space. Another problem that can be highlighted is that the series seems to be aimed more at a young audience than an adult audience. While the original film had humor for both children and adults, the series seems to be aimed at a younger audience, which may leave some older viewers dissatisfied (It is understood that it is an animated material and usually goes directly to children, but we must take into account a little that audience that grew up with the characters because many of us were children at that time).

In short, “Monsters at Work” is a fun and entertaining series that follows the story of the original film. Although it has some problems, overall, it's a good option for those who enjoyed the movie and are looking for a new adventure with their favorite characters.

If you watched the series, what do you think?
