Selfie Challenge - Inspiration
Today, day 10 of the selfie challenge on Yoors with the Inspiration prompt.
I still really enjoy taking selfies and this year I went one step further and delved into sensitive and sensual photo art. How to capture certain emotions in a selfie? What does subtle sensuality look like on a photo, for example. These are all questions that make me curious.
I see photography and also selfies as a form of art. I always want to see how far you can go in terms of development.
My inspiration for everything I do creatively and how I live comes from music. Music is my source. A place where I dare to ask questions, where I get answers, where I can get to the bottom of my soul when I open up to it. When I listen to music, I get closest to myself, when I make music, when I write music, when I take pictures. With all these things, including taking selfies, I always take a short moment of rest before I start and connect with my body, my mind. From that moment of rest, a deepening takes place in myself that brings me so deep to the soul that everything you see in the selfies, art, music that I write, play, becomes visible, with the aim of making art in such a way that a space continues to be created for the viewer so that you can fill in a certain feeling yourself. It must be a sensory experience that can and should feel differently for everyone.
In a while, I will continue to use this form of art to a photo shoot. I won't reveal anything yet, but I already know what it's going to be. Okay, a glimpse of the veil, then. It will be an experience of identity, self-love and peace. I want to stay very close to myself in everything I do, so even in the new development in photography, I stay close to myself, the source of inspiration that embraces my identity. As a free-thinking person, I am very happy with how I can live this way and can and may be an inspiration to others.
In the collage below, you see me as a selfie surrounded by images of my source of inspiration, music, the piano, which is so important to me and with which I am intertwined. I put my whole soul and soul into the experience of music, which shapes me and shapes me. I feel like a free soul, hence the selfie that way. Want to create a certain feeling, being able to get to your own core very deeply and that you can be free, think freely, live and experience freely.
For me, life is a big experience. I can taste, experience, learn and pass on it.
